Ableton annoys 


Ableton is doing something lame with their new Operator softsynth 

I've been a fan of Ableton since I bought Live 2. They continually crank out quality software and are generally awesome to their users. While I'm not overly surprised that they would come out with a soft synth, Operator, I'm annoyed that they are distributing the Operator demo to all live users wether they want it or not. Those of us who like to be careful with what we install don't like downloading more than we ask for. I don't know why Ableton would force all users to download a demo of a separate product, but I don't like it and other Live users I've talked to don't like it either. Of course it is integrated into the application and can't be uninstalled. Hey Ableton, for those of us who aren't interested in Operator, how about a different version of Live 4.1 without it integrated please?
